Mystery Dog Ranch is an equestrian day camp for girls and boys ages 5-17.  We strive to educate our horse enthusiast to learn proper safety measures around horses and learn the basics of horseback riding or expand their knowledge so they can take our principles anywhere they go in order to exhibit proper horsemanship skills!  Each camper is assigned their own horse for the week!

Our Camp Director is a professional CHA Certified Instructor and adheres to CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) guidelines particularly when it comes to safety, fun and learning.  She ensures each rider and horse is properly matched for their ultimate Summer Camp Experience!

Our Ranch Family has over 100 years combined horse experience and we want everyone to gain the knowledge that we have so you can be assured to go away with a new level of horsemanship confidence!

Campers will experience and understand the difference of English Riding and Western Riding, and will also experience and understand Barrel Racing and Pole Bending.  Of course everyone looks forward to Trail Riding and Pasture Games to!  All forms of riding will be taught where the Horse and Rider Become One – in other words learning to work together instead of against one another.  Learning to use your body language via your head, hands, legs and seat will help you communicate with your horse so you don’t give mixed signals.  NEW THIS YEAR – VAULTING !

Our campers spend the majority of the day with their horse with the exception of a lunch break and swim break at the end of the day!  Craft and/or educational time is available in case of rainy periods.  For the week-long camp (only) a demonstration will be provided to the parents on the last day of camp with participation and specialty awards for all!  No one goes away empty handed!  Sportsmanship is stressed to all in order that the week is full of education and harmony!
